PHILADELPHIA (CBS) ? This weekend last summer, local residents were dealing with the fallout from Hurricane Irene?s flooding rains, damaging winds and numerous Tornado warnings. On the anniversary of one of the most memorable storms in our region?s history, CBS 3 Anchor Chris May and the Eyewitness Weather team of Kathy Orr, Kate Bilo, Katie Fehlinger, Justin Drabick and Carol Erickson take an extensive look at severe weather conditions with Eye on Extreme Weather, a half-hour special that explores the science behind storms and important information on what you can do when severe weather moves into your area.
The program, which includes riveting video of Irene and other local storms and their effects, airs this Saturday, August 25, 7 p.m. on CBS 3 and Saturday. September 8, 8 p.m. on The CW Philly.
