Thousands of Tennessee college students are in jeopardy of losing their Hope Scholarships before they graduate.
Tennessee lawmakers passed a bill back in 2011 only giving students funding for the minimum hours required for a degree program.
The changes are expected to take place this year.
That means nearly 3,000 current students are expected to run out of scholarship funding before the end of their fourth year in school.
This funding change will also affect future college students.
